In the course of business we have been offered reseller status, marketing partnerships or sales commission on the products we have sourced for our clients. We have always turned them down!

Why?

Because we value our independence. We want our clients to know that when we recommend a product or service we do so because we genuinely believe it is the best tool for the task in hand. If we were a reseller of "product X" then there would always be the suspicion that we would recommend it to get a margin or meet a sales quota even though it may not be the best product for the client.

That doesn't mean we don't have preferred products or services. When we find a company that consistently delivers value for our clients we will tend to re-use their products or services, but only because we know and trust them.

Our goal is to develop long-term relationships with our clients and that can only happen if the relationship is built on trust.
